Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of New England Weddings (the "Service"), operated by New England Premier Events ("we", "us", "our") from New Hampshire, United States. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate, current information when you sign up and keep it updated.
• One account per person or business. Sharing accounts, or listing multiple businesses under one account, is not permitted.
• Notify us at info@myneevent.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Vendor listings

• You represent that all information you submit about your business — including services offered, pricing, availability, and photos — is accurate and that you have the right to post it.
• You may not misrepresent your business, list services you do not provide, or list a business you do not own or represent.
• You retain ownership of the content you upload. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote it in connection with the Service.
• We may unpublish or remove listings that violate these Terms, contain inaccurate information, or generate a pattern of complaints.

4. Wedding profiles and communications

• Couples may create a wedding profile with details about their event. You choose what to share, and can edit or delete your profile at any time.
• Messages you send to vendors through the Service are stored in our database and delivered to the receiving vendor. Vendors may reply directly to your email address.
• We do not guarantee vendor response times or the quality of any vendor's work.

5. Paid vendor services (Spotlight)

• Paid vendor tiers ("Spotlight") are billed annually. Prices are shown on our Pricing page and are subject to change with advance notice.
• Spotlight vendors receive access to a "Matching Leads" table containing contact information for couples in the vendor's state who have explicitly opted in to lead sharing. Vendors on the free tier do not receive this access.
• Vendors accessing lead data agree not to: (a) resell, transfer, or share the data with any third party; (b) contact a couple after that couple has requested no further contact; (c) use the data for any purpose other than reaching out about the couple's wedding.
• Violation of the vendor lead terms is grounds for immediate termination without refund.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled from your dashboard.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or access other users' data.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download listings, photos, or user data.
• Impersonate any person or business or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, or privacy rights of others.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

7. Third-party services and links

The Service may include links to third-party websites (vendor websites, Eventbrite for ticketing, Instagram, etc.) and integrates third-party services (Google Places, Google Maps, Stripe). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service and all vendor listings are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. Listings are aggregated from public sources and vendor submissions; we do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any vendor's work.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, New England Premier Events and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless New England Premier Events, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual-property or privacy rights.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing info@myneevent.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8–13) will remain in effect.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

13. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we'll notify registered users by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
